The Lookup File allows the Scanning Workstation operator to quickly identify scanned images by choosing key values from a list or by associating them with a bar coded value. This process reduces or eliminates manual entry of key data and ensures data accuracy in the key fields. The actual Lookup File is an ASCII text file containing the data fields to be used to populate the key fields on the scanned documents.
